I've not updated the blog with any more of my EV experiences with the Renault ZOE, mainly because there's not been much to say. Once I got over the initial novelty of it, and the learning curve of how to deal with charging and so on, it's becoming a very unremarkable experience.
Of course, I still love how smoothly it drives, how quickly it accelerates from a standstill, and how quiet it is. And I love not having to queue up at filling stations.
But it's become entrenched in my everyday life now. The little things about it which are different from an ICE car, like remembering how to plug it in when I get home, or to take the charging cable with me on longer journeys, or even to not floor it when pulling away, have become habits now.
I even know where the main charging points are on my more regular longer journeys, and factor in a short stop for a boost charge (and a cup of coffee).
